As FTB, we've used the forum to learn a lot during our buying process and would like to share our experience in case others are interested in the process of applying to YBS.Don't remortage unless doing 6months in advance. The initial mortgage advisor was good. After agreeing to remortage with them, it has been one long battle dealing incompetent admin, spelling mistakes, errors in emails. Despite sending all required documents immediately, I have had to chase every step of the way.
